Retractor - Small
Description
The CABIOMEDE Retractor consists of adjustable base pieces that provide excellent access and visibility for a wide range of surgical applications.
Small version comes in variants:
- circle with access field dimensions of 8.5cm x 8.5cm,
- rectangle with an access field size of 8.5cm x 17cm,
- square with an access area of 17cm x 17cm.
The system components are made from a carbon fiber-polymer composite allowing sterilisation at 121°C.
Unlike disposable polymer systems, the CABIOMEDE retractor can withstand a minimum of 10 steam sterilization cycles in a 121°C plastic program.
Each version of the retractor comes with a set of 6 hooks that can be sterilized a minimum of three times at 121°C. Depending on the type of procedure and the degree of tension on the hooks during the surgical procedure, it is recommended that the hook set be replaced after three (or more) times of use.

The round version can be upgraded to rectangular and square by adding a set of straight connectors.
